With more people working from home, I know it's more important that ever to make Plot easier to use from mobile devices. As you'll see, that's been a big inspiration for this update.

1.) Upload Image to Scene

Now you can easily upload an image file directly to a scene, which is especially beneficial from a mobile device: allowing you to quickly access your recent photos.

2.) Drawing Tool

There has been a massive overhaul to the inner workings of the drawing tool, making it much faster and more efficient on any browser, including support for the iPad Pro with Apple Pencil and other drawing tablets.

Added Features

  • Layer Grouping - Join any number of assets or strokes into a single layer.
  • Layer Locking - Lock assets into place to prevent them from moving.
  • Eraser - Now acting as a true removal of pixels from the intended asset. Just select 'Paint into Layer' when using.
  • User Interface - More effecient use of space for the plethora of tool options.
  • Work Area - Easier manipulation of the work area position and scale.

3.) Other Changes

The free account has officially changed to a 14 day trial.
Collaborators with 'Can Edit' permissions can now 'Resolve' all comments, not just their own.
Users that signed up with social media and had no first or last name would show "null null" as their name on comments. We've changed this to "Anonymous".
